Skate Jam

In August we teamed up with West Dorset District Council, Maverick Industries, Bearwood Young People’s Centre and the Dorset Police to organise a free day of fun, action packed activities for the children and young people of Bearwood. It was a fabulous sunny day with over 60 children and young people turning up throughout the day. There were some great skate facilities alongside rock climbing and slacklining. Soul Survivor

This summer we took a group of young people to the lovely Somerset town of Shepton Mallet for a week of camping. Soul Survivor is a great way for young people to get away from regular day to day life, have a load of fun, whilst also getting the chance to encounter God in their lives. This year some of our young people gave their lives to God and started their journey of following in the ways of Jesus, while others grew in their faith and love of God. Farside:  Forgotten God

In September, St. Barnabas hosted the Farside youth celebration which looked at the subject of the Holy Spirit. We saw over 150 young people turn up from around Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding areas to worship God in a fresh and innovative ways.
