Christianity Explored

What’s the best news you’ve ever heard?

Was it surprising? Did it change the way you think? Or was it something you wanted to be true but didn’t dare hope?

Christianity Explored is a relaxed and informal way of sharing the best news you can ever hear, and gives people space and time to think about the big questions of life.

Over seven sessions in Mark’s Gospel, guests find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ.

If you have big questions about life and death, hope and purpose then we invite you to ask your questions and to explore potentially the best news you could ever hear.

Next Course: Starting: Wednesday 27th September for 7 weeks Time: 7pm Venue: St Barnabas Church. Contact the Office for further details: Tel: 01202 579562 Email: stbarnabas@canfordparish.org

Hope Explored

What’s the best future you could ever imagine?

Real hope is what the Christian faith claims to offer; a joyful future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything in the present – but is it true?

This series is an opportunity to explore, to discuss, to question and to discover whether the Christian hope really does change everything?

The Forge

In a forge metal is heated to extreme temperature and then is moulded into new shapes. This is an image of the ministry to men at St Barnabas. Our desire is for men to encounter Jesus and to be encouraged by one another, to be spiritually on fire for God and as a result be fashioned into the men that God has called us to be.

We do this through informal and formal events, so to get connected, please contact the office by email on stbarnabas@canfordparish.org
